Who we are

We are two ex-patriate Canadian-European artist-designer-sailors who washed up on these shores some years ago and liked it so much we decided to stay. To see some of our work, click the buttons to the left.

Where we are

We are on the island of Faial in the Azores. The nine islands of the Azores form an Autonomous Region of Portugal. They have been settled for over 500 years (Columbus stopped here for supplies on the way back from his first voyage to America). Our island, Faial, has long been a favourite with visitors as it had the closest thing to a natural harbour in the islands. Over the years pioneer aviators and the first trans-Atlantic air services made stops here, cable companies established bases and for over 75 years yachtsmen have been made welcome. We are still building this site so all pages are not yet compete and we will be adding more from time to time. We will also be changing the pictures in the Azores Photo Gallery every now and then and adding new pages as new ideas occur to us.
